Introduction | Cuprous Oxide is mainly used as a material for an anti-fouling paint for ship bottoms, and even as a material for catalysts and electronic parts. Either a standard grade or a special grade is available acording to usage. |
Properties | - Isometric system red micropowder. - Molecular weight 143.08 - Specific gravity 5.9-6.0 - Oil absorption about 10-15 - Melting point 1235℃ - Boiling point (decomposed) 1800℃ - Insoluble in water and alcohol. Soluble in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, ammonium chloride, and aqueous ammonia. |
